Description

The RWI-GEO GRID dataset provides socio-economic data on 1x1 km grid cells in which residential and commercial properties in Germany are located. For each grid cell, the data set contains a large number of variables on households, household structure, demographics, the proportion of foreigners, mobility, purchasing power, unemployment rate and credit default risk. The data is currently available for the years 2005 and 2009-2023.The SUF is a de facto anonymized version of the full data set.

Data delivery information (English)

The data sets are available for scientific purposes as a Scientific Use File (SUF) off-site and on-site. The FDZ Ruhr makes the data available to researchers for non-commercial use only. Use is project-related and possible in two ways, Scientific Use File (SUF) and guest researcher stay. Both types of access require an application from the user. If you are interested in one of our datasets, we offer you the opportunity to simply apply for data online.
