The dataset RWI-GEO-CARMKT covers used cars listing on the internet platform AutoScout24. The dataset includes most characteristics collected on the platform like price, weight and characteristics of the exterior and interior but regional information on the seller.

Data Coverage

Time period: 01/2019 to 12/2024

Geographic scope: currently Germany (further countries under preparation)

Content dimensions: manufacturer, model, year of manufacture, fuel type, mileage, price, and more

Regionalization: detailed spatial information at a fine level (postal code)

Data delivery information (English)

The FDZ Ruhr makes the data available to researchers for non-commercial use only. Use is project-related as Scientific Use File (SUF). The Access require an application from the user. If you are interested in one of our datasets, we offer you the opportunity to simply apply for data online.
