The BuzzFeed News Fact-Checking Facebook Politics Pages dataset contains 2,282 fact‑checked posts published between September 19–23 and September 26–27 2016 by nine verified Facebook pages (three left‑leaning hyperpartisan, three right‑leaning hyperpartisan, and three mainstream news outlets). For each post the dataset provides the full text, media type (link, photo, video, or text), engagement metrics (shares, comments, reactions), a factuality rating (“mostly true,” “mixture of true and false,” “mostly false,” or “no factual content”), and reviewer notes and sources.
